Our Team

Dr. Inger Malwin-Dabney was born and raised in beautiful Venice, Florida. She is the youngest of four, and the only girl. Her three other brothers have all sought careers in the dental field.

Inger graduated from Venice High School in 1982. She went on to undergrad training at St. Petersburg College, where she received her dental hygiene degree. Immediately upon completing that goal, Inger was accepted into Indiana University School of Dentistry. During her freshman year, Indiana won the national title in NCAA basketball under Bobby Knight - Go Hoosiers!

In 1990, Inger graduated dental school and joined her father's practice. She loves the opportunity to work alongside her father and continue her education. For the past two decades, she has implemented his practical knowledge of dentistry to provide exceptional service for each patient.

I have been a dental hygienist for over 34 years. I was born in Zanesville, Ohio, and grew up in Beverly, Ohio, home of the Fort Frye Cadets. I enjoyed playing softball, basketball, and played the trombone in the marching band.

I graduated from Shawnee State College in Portsmouth, Ohio, in 1985 with my dental hygiene degree. After college, I moved to Newark, Ohio, where I met and fell in love with my husband Joe. He and I married in 1997. He is currently a realtor with D.R. Horton.

I have a stepson and daughter in law and a granddaughter. We moved to Sarasota from Newark, Ohio, in 2002 and now live in Willow Chase in North Venice. I enjoy running, bike riding, and walking my puppy Biscuit.

Originally from Atlantic City, NJ, where she worked as a Dental Assistant for 27 years, Kathy completed her Dental Assistant training in Cape May, NJ.Kathy now handles our patients’ insurance, billing, treatment planning, scheduling, and looking at each day as an opportunity to expand her knowledge and experience.

When she is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family. She also loves traveling, tasting new wines, and hanging out with community friends on the weekends.

Aleena was born and raised in West Palm Beach, FL until she was nine years old. Then she moved to North Port where she's been since. She currently lives with her boyfriend and two dogs. When she's not at work, she enjoys fishing, hanging out on their boat and playing with their two dogs, Mocha and Zeke. 

Aleena recently joined our team after graduating from Florida DATS program receiving her Dental Assisting certification in Fort Myers in 2022.

Louisa was born and raised in South Florida. She currently lives in North Port. Louisa joined our team in March 2022 and is currently working as a Dental Assistant. She enjoys creating a comfortable atmosphere for the patients in her care.

In her free time, Louisa enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling and going to the beach.
