My name is Inger Malwin-Dabney. I was born and raised in beautiful Venice Florida. I am the youngest of four (and the only girl). My three other brothers have all sought careers in the dental field, two of which I’m fortunate to work with!
I graduated from Venice High School in 1982. I went on to undergrad training attending St Pete Jr College and received my dental hygiene degree. Immediately upon completing that goal I was accepted into Indiana University’s Dental School. My freshman year Indiana went on to win the national title in NCAA basketball under Bobby Knight - Go Hoosiers !
I graduated dental school in 1990 and joined my fathers practice and have loved the opportunity to work along side my father and continue my education implementing his practical knowledge of dentistry over several decades.
My passions in life include my husband Fred. He and I married in 1993. He has been involved in professional baseball since 1988. He played ball for the Chicago White Sox, The Cleveland Indians and the Chicago Cubs. He had 10 successful years as a left handed pitcher. He currently works with the Milwaukee Brewers as a pitching coach.
We have two beautiful boys Dane and Tanner. They keep us busy with football, basketball and skateboarding among other activities.
We love to camp as a family in our pop-up camper, as well as fish as much as possible. I’ve even been known to out fish my husband ! I feel blessed to live, love and work here in Venice and proud to call it home.

- Worked for Florida Power & Light for 11 years from 1985 until 1996. Employed by Malwin & Malwin Dentistry since 1997.
- I have been married for 24 years to my Junior High School sweetheart. I have two lovely daughters. One in College and the other attends Venice Christian School.

- In 2008 I was fortunate (after a 14 year layoff) to compete in Bodybuilding and place 1st in the Over 35 category at the Hurricane Bay Bodybuilding Championships held in Tampa. Two weeks later (at age 47) I was blessed with a 1st place victory in the Over 35 heavyweight division at the SouthEastern USA in Orlando.

- Mother of 2 daughters: ages 13 and 7 and three dog-ters: Skeeter, Roxy & Tinkerbell.

My name is Paula Pender. I was born in Steubenville, Ohio. I moved to Venice in 1963 with my parents from Chester, West Virginia. I went to school here in Venice and I graduated from Venice High School in 1970. After School I went to Manatee Area Vocational Technical Center and became a certified dental assistant.
I have two children. My son lives in Sarasota, Florida and my daughter lives in Paducah, Kentucky. I have two granddaughters: they are 3 years old and 6 months old. I am an active member of The Women’s Sertoma Club in Venice.
